The
largest of the Seton Center's facilities is located in the Brookline
section of Pittsburgh, which is our headquarters and provides:
An Adult Day Services Center, providing a safe, secure, "home
away from home" for elderly citizens who are not able to stay
by themselves during the day
A Child-Care Center, providing daily care for children ranging
in age from six weeks through twelve years
A Senior Center, where senior citizens can come to socialize,
learn, and engage in healthful activities
The School of Music, which provides group classes and private
lessons, for both school-age students and adults
The Seton Pioneers Theatre Group, an all-volunteer organization
that provides an opportunity for people of all ages to participate
in theatre productions
In Allegheny County, we also operate two other facilities.
Overbrook, home to
a Senior Center for local residents
Scott Township, where
we operate an Adult Day Services facility
Seton Center also plays an important role in providing services
to senior citizens and their families in Westmoreland County. At
our Greensburg site, located
near the campus of Seton Hill University, we provide:
An Adult Day Services Center
Respite and Friendly Visitors Programs, which provide companionship
for homebound seniors and needed relief to their everyday caregivers
The Westmoreland County Ombudsman Program, through which
we provide mediation in the resolution of issues relating to long-term
care services for county residents over the age of sixty.
